Tip 2: How to update your community profile

Last week, in #TipTuesday we discussed how to tag your posts on  – if you missed it, you can view it here.
Now, let's use this week's #CommunityTip to review how to update your profile.

Update Your Profile

As you make connections, having a profile picture, bio, and other profile details available for reference is very helpful. It allows members to learn a little more about you, and adds friendly faces to the community throughout the discussion.

How?

You can go to your profile by clicking here. Or you can navigate to your Profile via the circular icon at the top right-hand side of the home page.

Upload a Profile Picture

Click on arrow next to  'Actions' -> Upload Picture and follow the prompts. If you don't want to add your face, feel free to add a picture of your favourite holiday destination, pet or something else that represents you! If you don't add a profile picture, your icon will be your initials.

Add your Bio

Click on the 'Add' button and add your bio. Not sure what to say? I would suggest sharing highlights of your career journey, what area of practice you work in or projects you are currently focused on, and even mentioning a few things you enjoy doing outside of work.

Add your Education and Employment History

These won't come through automatically from your Member Profile, so you can add whatever you'd like here.

Note: your name and details automatically come from your ANZASW member profile. If you'd like to change what details are shown to the community, feel free to change this in your Privacy Settings under My Preferences. You can do this by clicking here.

Please feel free to ask questions below if you have any!
