Tip 1: How to update your community notification settings

Welcome to our very first #TipTuesday in our new ANZASW community! Each Tuesday we will be posting a new community tip, to help members get acquainted with our new community platform.

This week's #CommunityTip will explain how to adjust your email notifications.

Why?

The ANZASW Member Hub has email notifications set up, so you can follow along with discussion threads and resources shared at a frequency that works for you.

What are my options?

Daily Digest: You want to see community posts in your email inbox 1x per day.

Real-Time: You want to see every single post in your email inbox, as they happen.

No Email: You don't want to see any posts in your email inbox.

*Note: you can turn on weekly consolidated emails and still get a weekly summary of community activity even if you have the 'No Email' setting on for community notifications.

Consolidated Daily: This setting will only be needed if you are part of a community space separate to the ANZASW Members community. This email notification will wrap up activity for all of your community spaces in one email.

Consolidated Weekly: You want a summarised version of community posts in your email inbox 1x per a week.

How do I find these settings?

You can easily find these settings by clicking here.

Go to your profile by clicking on the circle icon on the top right showing your profile picture/initials, next to the Search Bar. Then select My Preferences > Community Notifications from the tabs on your profile.

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page; you will see the Discussion Email settings, and Consolidated Email Settings. Change your settings by editing your selection in the drop down menu for Discussion Email, or by checking the Consolidated Digest setting you wish to use i.e. Weekly.

A note on other email notifications: If you begin a thread or post a reply, you will automatically receive Real-Time emails from the discussion you have participated in. If you wish to not receive Real-Time emails on a question you've asked or answered, then simply unfollow the thread by un-highlighting the following toggle on the top right of the thread (new question/post).

Tune in next week for more community tips and tricks! In the meantime, do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have by replying to this thread, or emailing the ANZASW Member Support Team: members@anzasw.nz
